The newly designed and expanded Airport Hessental achieved the full operating permit in 2004. All facilities needed for instrument flight are installed. The Instrument Landing System (ILS) on runway 28, the GPS Approach on both runways, the Tower-DME and most importantly, the extension of the runway from 920 meters to now 1540 Meters.
Here you will find friendly service, a fueling station with Jet fuel and Avgas, and a great central location with quick and easy access to the northern part of Baden-Württemberg and to Bavarian Franconia. The airport staff is looking forward to your visit and will make sure it will be a pleasant stay.
